Daimler Trucks North America has once again notified state officials that more positions are being eliminated at its Charlotte-area manufacturing facilities. According to two separate Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filings with the N.C. Department of Commerce, the latest layoffs will affect 25 employees at the company's Freightliner big-truck plant in the Rowan County town of Cleveland and another 15 at a plant in Mount Holly.
