Charlotte’s Nucor plans $240 million expansion at Arkansas plant

Nucor Corp. (NYSE: NUE) plans to build a galvanized steel sheet metal production line at its Nucor Steel Arkansas plant at a cost of $240 million. It is the second major expansion announced by Nucor in the last two years. In September 2016, the Charlotte steelmaker said it would build a $230 million cold mill addition at the plant.
