Train equipment company to add 40 jobs in Rowan County

Premtec, a train equipment manufacturer, will spend $1 million to add new equipment and make other improvements to its Rowan County facility, adding 40 jobs. The company, a unit of New York Air Brake, makes brake hoses for the railroad industry in a plant located at 985 Whitney Drive, outside of China Grove.
