SCANA sought other partners for troubled V.C. Summer plant before halting construction

SCANA Corp. still preferred to build one 1,117-megawatt reactor in the proposed V.C. Summer Nuclear Station expansion, but could not make it work once partner Santee Cooper decided against any additional construction. CEO Kevin Marsh said SCANA subsidiary S.C.
