
It's no big surprise that Charlotte renters hoping for a cheap, one-bedroom apartment are out of luck. The median rent for a one-bedroom unit in the Queen City cost $1,050 in July, making it the state's most expensive city to rent such an apartment, according to Apartment List's August rent report.
