S&D Coffee of Concord to be bought by Canadian beverage company

S&D Coffee in Concord has a deal to be bought by a Canadian beverage company. The 89-year-old private company that supplies coffee and other beverages to companies such as McDonald’s and Chik-fil-A will keep its executives and name and operate as a subsidiary of Cott Corp., the buyer. S&D CEO Ron Hinson says the Cott-S&D deal is a good fit. “We could not be more pleased by what the future holds for our stakeholders, including employees and customers, due to this new strategic combination,”…
