Rock Hill electronic connectors plant to close, cutting 350 jobs

TE Connectivity will close its Rock Hill plant that makes electronic connectors next year, eliminating more than 350 jobs. Company executives have told news organizations that stiff competition in the data communications industry forced TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL) to consolidate operations at its manufacturing plants.
