Late to the gate: American Airlines fares poorly in on-time arrivals

A large U.S. carrier with major operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport fared poorly in government rankings of on-time arrivals in the first half of 2016, according to a report released Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
