BB&T Corp. has promoted three bankers to its executive management team as part of an extended plan to expand its top leadership group. Jim Godwin has been named deputy chief risk officer, Brant Standridge will become manager of BB&T's lending group, and Dontá Wilson will be chief client experience officer for the Winston-Salem-based bank (NYSE: BBT).
