N.C. bank makes debut on public stock market

Raleigh-based Paragon Commercial Corp. (NASDAQ: PBNC), the parent company of Paragon Bank, has priced its public-market debut at $34 per share — the midpoint of the range it disclosed previously. And trading has officially begun on the Nasdaq exchange. With Paragon offering 736,000 shares, the debut price means a raise of about $25 million.
