Former Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot and former Lockheed Martin General Counsel Frank Menaker tendered their resignations Friday as board members of Raleigh-based aggregates manufacturer Martin Marietta Materials (NYSE:MLM). According to a securities filing, the pair retired in accordance with the company's bylaws that require such action when a director reaches the age of 75.
