​CBJ Morning Buzz: Widespread flooding causes damage, prompts evacuations; NC restaurant relief runs out; Dilworth site sells

Yesterday's heavy rains left a swath of destruction — and at least seven people dead — across North Carolina. And, in some areas, the threat has not yet abated. Several of those deaths occurred in flooding at a riverside campground about an hour north of Charlotte. Rescuers are resuming their search this morning for an adult and a child still missing from there. Meanwhile, voluntary evacuations have been called for a neighborhood along the Catawba River in northwest Charlotte as flood warnings…
