Duke researchers: Silent mutations may be how Covid-19 spreads before symptoms appear

New research at Duke University shows that a number of silent mutations helped turn Covid-19 into a global pandemic. This month, researchers published a new study in the journal PeerJ highlighting so called adaptive changes found in the SARS-CoV-2 genome that causes Covid-19.
