
American Airlines is preparing to fly the Boeing Co.'s 737 Max by the end of the year as the jet progresses toward recertification. In a statement provided to CBJ sister publication the Wichita Business Journal, a spokesperson for the airline says the plan is for one 737 Max flight a day beginning Dec. 29 and running through Jan. 4 that will fly between Miami and New York.
