Despite an ongoing pandemic that's badly battered the hospitality industry, a mixed-use development in Mooresville will see about 250 hotel rooms added in the coming months with the opening of two new properties. Charlotte-based Maya Hotels opened the first of those two hotels — the 120-room Tru by Hilton — on Wednesday in the LangTree Lake Norman development. Maya Hotels also manages Tru by Hilton.
