Belk cuts jobs at corporate office in Charlotte amid pandemic pressure

The pandemic has forced Belk Inc. to reduce its headcount. The Charlotte-based retailer eliminated a number of positions, primarily at its corporate office, says Jenny Anderson, a Belk spokeswoman.
