Charlotte medical school a 'giant step' closer to reality as Atrium Health, Wake Forest formalize agreement

Charlotte-based Atrium Health has signed an agreement for a "strategic combination" with Winston-Salem's Wake Forest Baptist Health and Wake Forest University that would bring a four-year medical school here.
