U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) officially has a retail presence in the Charlotte market. The Minneapolis-based bank hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday for its first local branch at 201 S. Tryon St. in uptown. The 3,400-square-foot space opened about three weeks ago. It is the first of 10 branches planned here by the end of 2020. It is also the first retail branch in North Carolina.
