NTE Energy outlines leadership changes as CEO retires abruptly

NTE Energy, which operates an independent natural gas plant in Kings Mountain and plans at least three more facilities in the Carolinas, has announced the sudden retirement of CEO Seth Shortlidge without a replacement. The company, which has offices in Charlotte and Boston in addition to its headquarters in St. Augustine, Florida, will for now be run by three co-presidents, who were previously direct reports to Shortlidge.
