C-suite executive at Lowe's to retire

The senior vice president and chief accounting officer of Lowe’s Companies Inc., Matthew Hollifield, is retiring, the company disclosed in a filing last week. He will remain with the Mooresville-based retailer until Dec. 13, then provide consulting services to Lowe’s until February. The company did not name his replacement in the filing.
