A vote that could advance the Charlotte region's next major transit corridor delayed

An anticipated vote on approving $50 million to move the Lynx Silver Line study forward has been pushed back two weeks. The study is expected to advance design, engineering and other planning for the 26-mile Silver Line, which would run from Matthews and Stallings, through uptown, then west to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and beyond into Gaston County.
