How AA fares in WSJ's annual airlines rankings

American Airlines, which is by far the dominant carrier at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, fared poorly in the annual airlines rankings put together by the Wall Street Journal. Out of the eight airlines ranked, American came in next to last at seventh. Delta Air Lines ranked No. 1 for the second straight year and low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines was last due in large part to a contract dispute with its pilots.
