CATS makes several recommendations for future transit corridors — but not an uptown tunnel

The Charlotte Area Transit System made several recommendations to the Metropolitan Transit Commission on Wednesday evening about the future of transit in the Charlotte region — among them, bus rapid transit for the north corridor; potentially expanding light rail to Gaston County, Ballantyne and Pineville; and merging light rail lines in uptown.
