Winston-Salem-based Novant Health is prepping to open a 161,000-square-foot hospital in Ballantyne in 2023. Novant expects to invest $154 million in the project, dubbed Ballantyne Medical Center. The proposed hospital would be on a 19-acre site at the intersection of Johnston Road/U.S. Highway 521 and Marvin Road.
