This week’s Charlotte Business Journal lists the Charlotte area’s largest general contractors, ranked by 2017 local billings. Choate Construction Co. tops the list with local billings of $448 million. Choate is the contractor on a 600,000-square-foot, build-to-suit Staples distribution center off Westinghouse Boulevard.
