Report: Charlotte workers more apt to move away for a new job than many big-city counterparts

Workers in metro Charlotte aren't necessarily looking to stay rooted in the Queen City, according to a new study by Glassdoor Inc. In its recently released report titled, Metro Movers: Where Are Americans Moving for Jobs, And Is It Worth It?, the California-based career website took a sampling of more than 668,000 online job applications during a week's timespan to provide a snapshot into work-related migration trends in the nation's 40 largest metro areas.
