No more spiders, goats or ferrets: American Airlines changes its support animal policy

American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ: AAL) announced on Monday stricter regulations to its emotional support animal policy. The new restrictions prohibit certain types of creatures from flying as emotional support animals including amphibians, spiders, goats, ferrets, insects, snakes, non-household birds like birds of prey, animals with tusks or hooves (except miniature horses trained as service animals, those are fine) and something called a sugar glider, which looks like a very tiny flying squirrel.
