Nucor Q3 earnings top expectations at $268.5M

Nucor Corp. beat analysts' expectations in the third quarter, reporting earnings of $268.5 million, or 83 cents per diluted share, on sales totaling almost $5.2 billion. That is down from the $305.4 million, or 95 cents per diluted share, Nucor made in the same quarter last year on sales of $4.3 billion.
