Dilworth site once planned for a Kimpton hotel sells for $3.9M

An intersection in Dilworth once pegged for a Kimpton hotel has been sold. Several parcels totaling nearly 1.2 acres at the intersection of East Worthington and Cleveland avenues were acquired for $3.9 million on Oct. 19 by OMS Dilworth LLC, affiliated with Charlotte-based OmShera Hotel Group, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. An affiliate of Catellus Group, also based in Charlotte, sold the property. Catellus purchased the site in 2014 with plans to develop a 130-room hotel.…
