Bold Rock Hard Cider eyes Charlotte for expansion

A well-established hard cider company is looking at the Queen City for expansion. Bold Rock Hard Cider, based in Nellysford, Va., recently filed a text amendment with the city of Charlotte for a zoning ordinance that would allow wine, cider and mead production in higher-density zoning districts.
