Report: How a 5% rise in rent could increase Charlotte's homeless population

With rents continuing to climb across the Charlotte region, a recent analysis looks at how this increase in living cost impacts the local homeless population. That study, conducted by residential real estate website Zillow, found that a 5% gain in rental prices across the Queen City would result in 68 more people becoming homeless here — a 3% increase.
