Charlotte-based Nucor Corp. (NYSE:NUE) has agreed to acquire a company that extends its reach in the automotive industry. Nucor said Thursday that it will purchase St. Louis Cold Drawn Inc., a manufacturer that primarily serves the U.S. and Mexican automotive and industrial markets.
