Seven years ago, Quail Hollow Club landed its first major when the PGA of America selected the Charlotte golf course as the site of the PGA Championship in 2017. By last summer, just as the same tournament began at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey, local organizers here disclosed that corporate hospitality sales had already established a new record. In the months since, the club and the sanctioning body have worked to find all available spaces to increase capacity.
