Metro Charlotte unemployment still lower than state rate

For the third consecutive month, the unemployment rate in metro Charlotte remained unchanged in June, according to labor figures released Wednesday by the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The local jobless figure — not adjusted for seasonality — held steady at 4%, which reached its lowest point in more than 10 years back in April.
