
Charlotte-headquartered Duke Energy has signed on to be a major tenant at an adaptive-reuse project underway in Optimist Park, just north of uptown. The utility company will be taking 83,000 square feet at Tompkins Hall, an adaptive-reuse project at East 16th Street and Parkwood Avenue, according to Neil Nissan, a Duke Energy spokesman.
