Century Communities completes $356M merger with homebuilder

A Colorado-based homebuilder that recently made a big expansion into Charlotte has completed its merger with another homebuilder. Century Communities Inc. (NYSE: CCS), based in Greenwood Village, Colo., has expanded its reach to 11 states, including the Carolinas, as a result of its previously announced merger with UCP Inc.
