Joe Alala’s investment group has gone on a hiring spree. Charlotte-based Capitala Group says it has recently hired six new professionals including three associates, two analysts and a vice president. The company, which is seeking new investment opportunities, hired Jack Vander Leeuw late last year from Neustar, where he led corporate development and strategy.
