Another layoff notice filed in the Charlotte region, affecting 82 workers

A flooring distribution company has filed notice that part of its Wadesboro facility will close next spring, affecting 82 workers there. J.J. Haines & Co. said in a Workforce Adjustment and Retraining Notification late last week that a portion of its facility at 2732 U.S. 74 West in Anson County will permanetly close by the end of March in 2018.
