A real estate firm out of Birmingham, Ala., recently closed on its purchase of a multifamily community off East Independence Boulevard. LIV Development acquired W Flats at 7200 Wallace Road for nearly $19.8 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. The 247-unit apartment development that delivered in 1986 was sold by Mesa Capital Partners out of Atlanta. Mesa acquired the property in 2013 for $13.3 million.
