$12 million charter kicks off first day of school this week

Movement School, the $12 million public charter school backed by Movement Mortgage's nonprofit arm, will open Wednesday for the 2017-2018 school year. The goal of the collaborative project between Movement Foundation, Sugar Creek Charter School and the state of North Carolina is to "end poverty through education," according to a press release.
