Uber to give Charlotte riders option of scheduling trips in advance

Uber Technologies Inc. is rolling out a new feature across Charlotte and other North Carolina cities that will enable riders to book a ride in advance. Uber's scheduled-rides service is launching Wednesday in Charlotte as well as in Durham, Greensboro, Raleigh and Wilmington, the company announced Tuesday afternoon.
