Sold: Former Red Roof Inn property in Charlotte used for sex trafficking of minors

The former owners of a closed hotel near Charlotte Douglas International Airport will pay the U.S. government $175,000 as part of a settlement stemming from allegations that the property was used for sex trafficking of minors and other crimes.
