Hillary Clinton is winning the war when it comes to funding in North Carolina – including the Charlotte region, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Statewide, Clinton has raised nearly $2.7 million to Donald Trump’s $285,000. And investors in the Charlotte-Gastonia area, who have pooled nearly $799,000 into Clinton’s campaign, have funneled just shy of $63,000 into Trump’s run.
