The Charlotte-area's second-largest hospital can once again start receiving patients in need of trauma care. Novant Health Inc. announced Wednesday that its 603-bed hospital at 200 Hawthorne Lane has been designated by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services as a Level 3 trauma center.
