Nike Inc. said Wednesday it will move out of the golf equipment business. The Beaverton, Ore.-based sports apparel giant (NYSE: NKE) said it is shrinking the focus of its golf business by focusing only on golf footwear and apparel and will no longer make clubs, balls and golf bags. Nike will continue to sponsor professional golfers, a roster that includes Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Michelle Wie. The move comes after Nike golf sales fell 8% in fiscal 2016, dropping from $769 million to $706 million.…
