Harris Teeter is looking to add about 3,000 employees to its ranks. The Matthews-based grocer, a subsidiary of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), said Monday that it plans to hire for nearly 3,000 new positions companywide, ranging from part-time cashiers and department clerks to full-time department heads and assistant store managers.
