Duke Energy to burn gas at Cliffside coal plant; PSNC will build the pipeline

Duke Energy plans to modify the two Cliffside coal-fired to allow them to burn natural gas as well as coal. And Duke says it is looking at the possibility of similar modifications at its other remaining coal plants. Duke spokesman Rick Rhodes the modifications could be completed as early as spring of 2019.
