A campaign to anchor a portion of uptown with a transit hub and spin-off hotels, shops, restaurants and offices kept inching forward this week. On Wednesday, 50 people who live uptown or are interested in the proposed Charlotte Gateway Station attended a lunch-hour “visioning” session aimed at giving planners and designers ideas and inspiration.
