Clean energy developer Blue Sphere Corp. has signed options to purchase two roughly 20 acre sites near Wallace and Red Springs where it intends to build two swine-waste-to-energy projects. Blue Sphere is the developer and minority owner of the 5.2-megawatt food-waste-to-energy project on Johnson Road in Charlotte. That project is 95% complete and is slated to come on line by October.
