Make us care.” NBC Sports executive producer Sam Flood used those words Wednesday when asked what the network has in mind as it picks up NASCAR race coverage this weekend for the second half of the season. The Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday marks the start of a 20-race schedule for NBC and sister network NBCSN. Fox and its cable-sports sibling, FS1, carried the first 16 races, ending last weekend. Fox has had rights for NASCAR races since 2001.…
